Cycling

If you are commuting to the QEIIMC site for work and are able, why not try cycling?

Locations of external bike parking and End of Trip Facilities (access may be limited by tenant organisation) can be viewed on the QEIIMC map. The Department of Transport creates maps of cycle paths across metropolitan Perth that can be viewed here on their website.

Please do not lock your bikes up to the fences or railings as this can restrict walkways and access points, hampering movements in the event of an emergency and hindering people with mobility problems.

End of Trip Facilities

Secure bike parking, lockers and shower facilities are available for some tenants. Please see the QEIIMC map for the locations of end of trip facilities and other bike parking areas. Access to these facilities will depend on the organisation to which they belong – some are limited to employees of specific tenants, or occupants of certain buildings.  Please contact the TravelSmart Junction if you are unsure which facilities you are able to use, and how to access them.

Electric Pool Bikes

The QEIIMC Trust has set up an electric pool bike system for all QEIIMC employees to use for any kind of work related trips such as meetings, travel between sites and visiting clients.

To book an electric bike, please contact the TravelSmart Junction. Booking hours are Mon-Fri: 8:00am – 4:00pm.
